A Mindful Ritual -
Transform your daily skincare routine into a grounding mindful ritual to cleanse away the stresses of the day!

Practising mindfulness each day allows our racing thoughts to be halted, for our minds to ease and calm, and to turn inward and take a few moments for ourselves to unwind, relax and just be. The below ritual only takes a couple of minutes and can be practised daily for maximum effects. Best performed in the evening, but can be practised at any time during the day.
Things you will need -
BEGINNING YOUR RITUAL -
Ensure the space around you is de-cluttered and clean, this helps clear your mind and focus on your ritual. Begin by lighting your oil burner or candle, if using an oil burner you can choose to place a few drops of essential oil in the top with water to create grounding energy around you, a few of my favourites are Frankincense, Lavender, Holy Basil, Roman Chamomile & Pine.
Stand for a few moments breathing in the scents & focus on the flame, empty your mind of all thoughts, of everything that has happened today.
Rinse your face with warm water, imagine as you are doing this that you are washing all the worries of the day away. In the palm of your hand squirt 2-3 pumps of the Deep Ritual Face Cleanser, rub onto your face and neck in circle motions, avoiding the eye area. Run warm water over your face cloth, wring out excess water & place the face cloth over your face tilting your face slightly upwards so the face cloth does not slip off. Leave the face cloth gently over your face whilst you breathe deeply through your nose, breathing in the grounding aroma of Deep Ritual, pick up and hold your grounding item/s, now imagine yourself walking through a forest until you come to a secluded clearing, you then sit cross legged upon the cool forest floor, feel the slight warm sun rays filtering through the trees that is gently kissing your skin. Any worries you are still holding on to, imagine the earth that you are firmly sitting on is gently pulling them into the ground away from you, here in this space you are safe, you feel nothing but calm and in balance with yourself, take a few moments to just be and pay attention to what you see around you, what pops into your mind's eye, perhaps you notice certain trees, certain plants, birds singing, the gentle rustle of leaves in the wind. When you are ready after a minute or so, gently bring yourself back to your present moment, place your grounding objects gently on the bench and use the wash cloth to gently wipe away the cleanser, rinse off your face in warm water & pat dry.
Finish the ritual by speaking one thing you are grateful for today & blow out your oil burner or candle. Optional add a few drop of Mother Nature's Facial Restoring Serum to your face to carry with you the gentle grounding notes of nature to a restful night sleep.
